That’s right, 2023 is bringing back live music, keeping Vesper PR busy with the promotion of world class concerts.

Also, we celebrate Mother’s Day in the USA  & Latin America. We want to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month and National Foster Care Month and highlight some of the work that our clients like Lucy’s Treats & Jessica Medina are doing.

We had a magnificent press conference at the Consulate General of Mexico on May 2, 2023, thank you to all the media that joined us.

The Celebrating Words Festival book giveaway is intentionally designed to be a literacy resource that supports our community members in becoming active readers and owners of personal libraries. Brand new books will be given away to all ages, in English, Spanish and bilingual print. Books will be available one per person and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Captivating audiences for nearly a decade, Ánimo Production adds a second night to their beloved Boleros de Noche concert series. This year the 7^th annual Boleros de Noche celebrates boleros with two special concerts at Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles MacArthur Park and The Ford!

• June 23, 2023 at Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles MacArthur Park (FREE) featuring Julian Torres’ and Grammy award nominee pianist Marco Antonio Godoy’s ‘Tribute to Agustin Lara’ and a special performance from LA’s Trio Casablanca

• August 5, 2023 at The Ford featuring L.A.’s own Grammy award winning singer-songwriter Martha Gonzalez and direct from Puerto Rico, Trio Remembranza

We are excited to return as the publicist of choice for Festival Chapin Los Angeles, the largest Guatemalan festival outside the central American country. Now in its 7th edition, the festival continues to celebrate Guatemalan culture through tradition, marimba, music, folk groups, crafts and ‘Chapína’ gastronomy. The festival will take place at Lafayette Park located at 625 S. Lafayette Park Pl., Los Angeles, CA 90057 on August 26 and 27 from 10:00 am to 10:00 p.m.  (Entree is free!)

Join us during Mental Health Awareness week with our client Lucy’s Treats, whose mission is to bring therapy dogs to foster children who suffer from emotional trauma due to separation from their families. Through their sales, the brand will donate 5% of its profits to therapy dog owners who can help improve foster children’s mental health and well-being.

New York City resident and Dominican/Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Jessica Medina has released her EP “Rosa,” which is produced by Grammy-award winning producer Janina Rosada; best known for her work with Juan Luis Guerra.  “Rosa” is dedicated to the women who have been important in Jessica’s life; one of them is her mother who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease; which she discusses in her song “Raíz” on the EP.

This is a great topic for Latinos and families who deal with the impact of Alzheimer’s disease. timely for both Mother’s Day which is May 14 and also Dominican Republic Mother’s Day which is May 28.  May is also Mental Health Awareness Month. . @jessicamedinamusic
