Vesper Public Relations is excited about the outdoor events we are managing public relations for. Also we kicked off the promotion of local music heroines Las Chorizeras and a wonderful organization that supports youth in Southern California.
We would like to welcome back our client, El Sushi Loco restaurant, and Chef Francisco Mendoza, who is gearing up for International Sushi Day this month.
El Sushi Loco is a great spot for families to bond and for friends to enjoy a lively atmosphere together. It beautifully represents the blending of Eastern and Western cultures, offering a delightful mix of exotic and familiar tastes and textures. California Watermelon Festival 2025
A southland tradition, the California Watermelon Festival offers “a sweet slice of California” and celebrates the beginning of summer with a vibrant California harvest.
The California Watermelon Festival will take place on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 10 am to 10 pm at Hansen Dam Recreation Area Soccer Fields. That’s an area equal to four football fields!

Las Chorizeras
Las Chorizeras is an all-female ensemble founded by singer-songwriter Nancy Sanchez. The group performs Nancy’s original songs as well as select pieces from American and Mexican songbooks, all presented in a fresh, contemporary Regional Alternative, and Regional Mexican style. They incorporate traditional mariachi instruments, such as the guitarrón, vihuela, and violin, into their unique mariachi fusion sound.
Las Chorizeras has been captivating audiences with their live performances. They gained significant acclaim when their Spanish version of Journey’s “Open Arms,” titled “Dispuesto A Amar,” was featured in the popular Netflix series *The Lincoln Lawyer*. The band has entered the studio to record new songs and is excited to share their music with the world.
