Bilingual Los Angeles, Ranchero Alternative band The Mexican Standoff’s corrido dedicated to “El Corrido De Benjamin El Elotero” once again takes center stage as its main protagonist Benjamin Ramirez is making national headlines once again for being hospitalized after a second attack.
The band quickly texted their support to their friend Benjamin Ramirez & issued this statement: “In today’s political climate it’s important to remain united as Latinos. To come together and support one another. We are saddened by what happen to Benjamin. We send love and support to “El elotero and his family”.
“There are an estimated 50,000 street vendors in Los Angeles, yet street vending has not been legalized in the city. What does the future of street vending in L.A. look like? “
