Vesper Public Relations. Los Ángeles, CA. February 2019 – Johana Hernández, designer of choice amongst new Latinx celebrities’ & a first for a Salvadorean origin -who is set to return for the second year to Paris Fashion Week with her new GLAUDI –Bridal collection for 2019.
She returns home for her March 7th “Paris to L.A. Fashion Week – The Glaudi Wedding” exhibition at “Sanctuary Style Art Music” in St. John Cathedral (514 Adams Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90007).

Johana, born in USA of Salvadorian parents, the first designer of Salvadoran descent to go to Paris Fashion Week, has designed many dresses for young Latinx celebrities. Her latest creations are for Kenia Ontiveros star of Spanish language reality TV show “Larrymania” and her wedding to her “Larrymania” co-star, the Regional Mexican music sensation Larry Hernández.
“Kenia likes sophistication and classic styles” says Johana, “and that inspired me to create two very unique yet traditional dresses. “The first a princess style dress with removable mermaid skirt for a “2 in 1″ outfit with beads and embroidery giving the look of royalty with a beautiful handmade cathedral style veil.”
Johana continues, “the second dress, also mermaid style, with one long sleeve, adorned with crystals on the back, giving a touch of baroque. It’s similar to the first dress with a princess style.” She adds, “with this second dress Kenia was very comfortable and looked like a Queen; she was able to dance and greet all the guests comfortably.”
Johana also designed two dresses for Kenia’s daughters and the bouquet girls; inspired by romance, the dresses were adorned with light pink flowers.

Johana is a feminine fashion designer in Los Angeles, born in Compton, California of Salvadorian parents. To live decently, her parents had to work long hours in the sewing industry for brands such as Calvin Klein and Guess. Johana will wait for them in their job, that’s were Johana got inspired in the fashion world. At age 19, she got her first job as Head of the Design department; her first collection was presented in Wall Street Journal. At age 22, she supervised for Seven7 Jeans, in where she designed for all sizes including plus sizes. She also designed for Isaac Mizrahi Jeans, Eli Tahari, Disney personality Hannah Montana, and more.
Hernández’ collections are available around the world in Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Lane Bryant, Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, Target and more. At age 24, she showcased her own collection, GLAUDI by Johana Hernández for a cause; through her fashion events and sales, she would donate for low income children in Latin America.
Today, GLAUDI Collection and GLAUDI Bridal is part of the great fashion industry. Hernandez learnt the sewing techniques of her parents and grandmother; she studied fashion in Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, same school where renown personalities have attend to as Monique Lhuillier, Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag.
Throughout her career, Johana Hernández has been renowned for her success as designer and inspiring worker. Nominated by People en Español magazine in 2014 as “Las 25 mujeres más poderosas” [The 25 Most Powerful women], Latina Magazine “30 estrellas favoritas menores de 30” [30 favorite stars younger tan 30] and Alegría Magazine “10 latinas más influyentes en Los Ángeles. [10 most influenced Latinas in Los Angeles] The young designer also participated in the reality NBC show “Fashion Star” on her side she had as Coaches Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson and designer John Varvatos.
Last year, Johana designed dresses for Merisel de Montecito, during Miss Universe El Salvador 2018.
