MEXICAN PUNK BAND DE NALGAS ARRIVES ON THE INTERNATIONAL SCENE WITH THEIR NEW ALBUM “VULGAR DULCE HOGAR” SET FOR OCTOBER 14 RELEASE
RELEASES THE VIDEO OF THE SECOND SINGLE “PARE DE SUFRIR, PARE DE MAMAR”
Vesper Public Relations, Los Angeles, CA. October 2016 – With the social denunciation of what is seen but ignored, the Mexican group “De Nalgas” reaches the United States playing loud to introduce a different style of social discourse on their new album “Vulgar Dulce Hogar” which will released October 14.
The cover of this new production was designed by the famous Winston Smith who designed the album covers of Green Day and Dead Kennedys among others.
The video for their second single “Pare de Sufrir, Pare de Mamar” details the obsessive cult of personality in music and public figures, featuring images and references to vacuous icons as Alex Lora, Ruben Albarran, and Jay de la Cueva.
The band members began playing together in high school when the first social network called “MySpace” was created. Thanks to this space they met Tito and Paco Ayala of Molotov who took De Nalgas under their wings and helped them produce what would be their first self-titled EP. Molotov made them known to larger audiences, and very soon “De Nalgas” became an open secret. Soon after De Nalgas recorded their second EP and the noise they were making, musically and commercially could no longer be ignored.
In 2010 members Karel – bass and vocals, Puxi – guitar and vocals, Irvio – drums and vocals, and Boris – guitar and vocals were initiated into the public arena when they joined Molotov on tour. Soon after they became the precursors of Mexican post-Punk Rock music scene.
“De Nalgas” recently attained even greater fame at the beginning of current Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto’s term. Many of their fans identified with the lyrics of their first single “Vergaviota” which denounced injustice in their country and stated indignation against their President when they sang “Yo no vote por ese wey, yo no vote por ese idiota” (I did not vote for that jack ass, I did not vote for that idiot).
De Nalgas is practically the only responsible band in this country. The only group that is truly worried about free speech and making their speech useful to society …” Noisey/Vice http://noisey.vice.com/es_mx/blog/de-nalgas-estreno-sencillo-pare-de-sufrir-pare-de-mamar-agosto-2016 “De Nalgas.
