— According to the latest statistics, over 1000 people died from impaired driving crashes in the state of California which represents 38% of all traffic fatalities in 2016 — 

WHAT:               

Mothers Against Drunk Driving – Southern California Region, cordially invites you to attend the 2018 Victim/Survivor tribute Honoring The Past Creating Hope For The Future, Candlelight Vigil.  While fostering hope, the 2018 Victim/Survivor Tribute serves as a time of reflection to remember and honor those who have been killed or injured in impaired driving crashes. We encourage all family, friends, neighbors and community members to come out and support this event.

Free metered parking after 6pm

 

VISUALS:           

Poem by impaired driving victims Fernanda Lins, musical performance by Emily LaSalle, and closing statement by Martin Yuson. The program will also include victim speakers, a dove release, candle lighting at sunset, and families and friends joining together to remember loved ones on a beach setting overlooking the water.
