Hollywood, CA (May 2021)– LOS TIGRES DEL NORTE are giving us so many surprises by releasing eight records that were rightfully hidden from the time they did their MTV UNPLUGGED.
This year marks the 10th anniversary from the release of the iconic album ‘TR3S PRESENTS MTV UNPLUGGED LOS TIGRES DEL NORTE AND FRIENDS.’ The album’s concert was totally live, and it featured different artists like: Juanes, Andrés Calamaro, René (Calle 13), Diego Torres, Zach de la Rosa, and Paulina Rubio. This production was a major hit back then that marked the trajectory of LOS TIGRES DEL NORTE.
This material makes history by having so many different musical genres in one stage, headed by LOS TIGRES DEL NORTE. The band was the pioneer for this kind of concept, allowing other musicians make their way through this concept and creating a new way of making music. This way, they combine different audiences and genres and having just one purpose: that there are no musical walls, only new music.
The success from ‘TR3S PRESENTS MTV UNPLUGGED LOS TIGRES DEL NORTE AND FRIENDS’ had no predecessors. However, when they released the album, eight tracks were left out from it. These unreleased tracks by the “Ídolos del Pueblo¨ are finally out for all of us to enjoy!
“La camioneta gris,” “Cuestión olvidada,” “Señor locutor,” “Perdonen mi canto,” “No pude enamorarme,” “Prisión de amor,” “Mi curiosidad” and “Ni parientes somos” are the songs that are now included on the album ‘LO QUE NO ESCUCHASTE… MTV UNPLUGGED.’
‘LO QUE NO ESCUCHASTE… MTV UNPLUGGED’ it’s already available on all digital platforms, and it has some animated musical videos (“La camioneta gris” being the first song to have a music video). The video can now be enjoyed on the band’s official YouTube channel, who are already preparing big surprises for this summer.
