with historic certifications for “Oye Mujer.”
Mexico City, MX (November, 2025) – A decade after the release that revolutionized Latin music, Raymix celebrates 10 years of his artistic career with a special recognition ceremony and a fan activation, where he shared the excitement of receiving historic certifications for his global hit “Oye Mujer.”
The artist was honored by AMPROFON and RIAA with multiple certifications in both Mexico and the United States, reaffirming the international impact of his electrocumbia sound.
In Mexico, Raymix received 2× Platinum + Gold for the album ‘Oye Mujer’ and 2× Diamond + 2× Platinum for the single “Oye Mujer.” In the United States, the album was certified 8× Platinum, while the single achieved the remarkable milestone of 5× Diamond + 3× Platinum, solidifying it as one of the most listened-to and awarded Latin tracks in recent history.
Before fully dedicating himself to music, Raymix studied engineering and completed a residency at NASA, where he drew inspiration to create his signature electrocumbia style, a genre he popularized and brought to international charts.
Over the course of his career, the artist has amassed more than 2 billion streams across all platforms, while the video for “Oye Mujer” has surpassed 944 million views on YouTube. On Spotify alone, the six versions of the song total over 369 million streams.
His repertoire also includes hits like “Tú y Yo” with Paulina Rubio, “Dónde Estarás?,” and “Primer Beso.” Additionally, his latest album, Raymixes, a tribute to cumbia, has already exceeded 5 million streams on Spotify.
Throughout his decade-long career, the creator of electrocumbia has collaborated with international stars such as Paulina Rubio, Juanes, Chiquis Rivera, Aczino, and Juan Magán, among others, and has been recognized by Billboard, iHeartRadio Music Awards, and Premios LAMAS, among others.
