“Todo se Nubla” was recorded at Playbach Studio and El Olimpo Studio in Puerto Rico. The single was engineered by Carlos Velázquez and Gabriel Oliver and mixed/mastered by Gabriel Oliver. Puerto Rican artists Gerardo Vélez and Jaime Vazquez created the cover art and cover art animation.

El Laberinto del Coco incorporates elements of reggae and bachata on “Todo Se Nubla,” with Puerto Rican-Dominican guitarist Jorge Andrés Ferreras taking center stage. The song’s multiple bomba rhythms are skillfully crafted by percussionists Efraín Martínez, Andrés Kino Cruz, Manuel Kike Rodríguez, and bandleader Héctor “Coco” Barez.

Génesis Dávila’ powerful vocals emphasize the importance of trust, reciprocity, and respect in the pursuit of happiness. Her message is further elevated by the exquisite choral arrangements of the talented Antoinette Rodríguez with harmonies by Soreimi Bezares and Adryanna Muller, creating a deeply immersive and unique musical experience.

As “Todo se Nubla” progresses, trombonist and vocalist Jomar Santana – a key member of the band’s energetic horn section, alongside Janice Maisonet, Jahaziel García, and Luis Fra Colón – delivers an engaging rap verse that stays true to the signature sound of El Laberinto del Coco. To cap it all off, legendary musician Jerry Medina brings his masterful jazz scat improvisation, filling the song with rich textures and vibrant colors.
