LOS ANGELES, CA (March 2024). Mexican music superstar CHIQUIS has just released her new single “Diamante”, a banda-corrido that underscores Chiquis’ undeniable strength, essence and star power.
“I wanted to write this song with Luciano Luna for my new album and tour to represent the strength and beauty of all of us who have been through tough times, it hasn’t been easy, but we have persevered with resilience and we have polished ourselves to the point of becoming diamonds. From the lyrics to the instrumentation, ‘Diamantes’ illustrates that strength and I hope everyone feels that when listening to it,”Chiquis expresó.
“Diamante” will be part of her upcoming album due out later this year and will be performed live at her upcoming DIAMANTES TOUR through the United States and Mexico. The single fuses two Regional Mexican/Mexican Music styles, with a dynamic instrumentation that includes tololoche, trombones, trumpets, charchetas and requinto guitar in an uptempo rhythm, a unique music arrangement that perfectly complements the song’s powerful lyrics and vocals. “Diamante” was written by Luciano Luna, Janney Marin (Chiquis), Ulises Lozano, Richard Bull and produced by Luciano Luna, Richard Bull and Ulises Lozano. Its music video will be available next month.
Chiquis recently announced her upcoming North American DIAMANTES TOUR, where the singer has tailored a brand new live experience full of her greatest hits for all her fans. Produced by Live Nation, the U.S. leg of the tour kicks off on May 30 at The Magnolia Theater in El Cajon and will make stops at important cities across North America.
