Festival Chapin Los Angeles is the largest Guatemalan festival outside the country, which announces its 7th edition to celebrate Guatemalan culture through tradition, marimba, music, folk groups, crafts and ‘Chapína’ gastronomy.
The festival will take place at Lafayette Park located at 625 S. Lafayette Park Pl., Los Angeles, CA 90057 on August 26 and 27 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
A press conference will be hosted in August 2023, more information coming soon.
Festival Chapin Los Angeles is a non-profit organization committed to promoting Guatemalan art and culture, based in California. Its mission is to offer resources to educational institutions in Guatemala that help promote the education, health and well-being of low-income children in the country.
Festival Chapin Los Angeles is created by Walter A. Rosales (President) and Jorge M. Marroquín (Director) and Ernesto Castellanos (Director).
