23 Sep NATHAN GALANTE NOMINATED FOR A LATIN GRAMMY FOR HIS ALBUM ‘UNA COPA POR CADA REINA (DELUXE)’
Nathan Galante, better known as “The Heartfelt Singer-Songwriter,” has been nominated for the first time as an artist and songwriter in the 24th annual Latin Grammy Awards in the category of BEST BANDA MUSIC ALBUM for ‘UNA COPA POR CADA REINA (DELUXE)’. This is a collection of hits made famous by some of the leading women in Latin music, such as Amanda Miguel, Thalía, Jenni Rivera, Lupita D’Alessio, Paquita la del Barrio, and Margarita la Diosa de la cumbia.
Galante presents his own unique versions while paying tribute to these great legends. Furthermore, to the delight of his fans, each song is accompanied by a music video directed by Edxon Rodríguez, recorded entirely live during a spectacular night in the beautiful port of Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
Known as one of the most sought-after composers of hits for stars in the Regional Mexican genre, Nathan Galante now launches his solo career with the same mission: to revolutionize the genre and leave his mark on the history of Latin music.
‘Una copa por cada reina (deluxe)’ is headlined by the single “Volverte Amar”. In the video for the single, we can see the young artist singing with a banda, surrounded by classic ranch and cantina scenes.
Among his most recognized songs, sharing co-authorship with Horacio Palencia, Edgar Barrera, and Geovani Cabrera, are: “Ya Supérame” (Grupo Firme), “Ya Solo Eres Mi Ex” (La Adictiva), “Cada Quien” (Grupo Firme/Maluma), “Ojos Cerrados” (Banda MS/Carin León), and “Que Vuelvas” (Carin León, Grupo Frontera).
“The Heartfelt Singer-Songwriter” was born in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, in a neighborhood known for its high crime rate, and despite his surroundings, Nathan loved music, enjoyed singing, and composing songs. He wrote his first song in the fourth grade, and from that moment, he realized his undeniable passion for music and composition. After many sleepless nights writing and perfecting his craft, Galante can now say that his efforts were worthwhile, reflected in the honor that this significant nomination brings.
