How does 2011 look so far for La Santa Cecilia? “Noche y Citas†topped iTunes Latin Charts at #25 and #2 on Latin Rock/Alternative; graced the Entertainment section of People En Español (sister magazine to People); La Voz (Houston Chronicle’s sister publication), OC Weekly,  San Antonio Current, interviews on the top two Hispanic networks in the country, Univision and Telemundo. Continuous love from NPR who stated: “The music of the Los Angeles band La Santa Cecilia places the group in the late-20th-century movement of Latino musicians in California who search out a wider variety of traditions then their musical ancestors did to create a new pan-Latino aesthetic.” Lastly, performed to a crowd packed of industry folk , celebrities, & artists at a special showcase at House of Blues’s Sunset’s Foundations Room a special event produced by PerroAzul & Spanish language Pop station Super Estrella.
If that weren’t cool enough La Santa Cecilia hits the road once again making a stop once again at South By South West 2011 in Austin, Texas below are the dates.
