Valenzuela Twiins join forces with DJ Flex

Top Latin music producers the Valenzuela Twiins kick off 2009 as only they know best.. creating new recordings destined for success, no doubt about it brothers Omar & Adolfo Valenzuela have the ‘Midas Touch’ in music, as everything they produce reaches either Gold or Platinum status.

The Valenzuela Twiins, newest creation is the re-mix version (mixing the genres of Reggeaton with that of Mexican music) of Panamanian born super star recording artist and Latin GRAMMY® award winner DJ FLEX ‘s first single titled “Si Te Vas Con El.”

For the second consecutive time the Valenzuela Twiins have been summoned to share their unique talent with DJ FLEX, as they had previously created the re-mix of his breakthrough single “Te Quiero” which skyrocketed in the United States, Mexico & Latin America.

The result was DJ Flex’s relentless hold on the music charts; his debut album on EMI Televisa, “Te Quiero,” was the fourth-highest-selling Latin album in the United States in 2008, according to Billboard magazine.
The Valenzuela Twiins’ unique sound continues to transcend beyond your typical musical boundaries, as their musical expertise reflects the converging of cultures in the melting pot that exists in the United States. Adolfo & Omar are a perfect example of the creativity and multicultural musical mix that is popular with contemporary young bi-cultural Latinos.

In 2008 the Valenzuela Twiins continued to expand their list of super star recording artists whom they’ve shared their talent such as: yet another Latin super star recording artist Chayanne, for whom they produced a ‘re-mix’ for the song “Amor Inmortal”.

Also, attesting to the Valenzuela Twiins’ on going vision to expand their musical contributions, last summer they participated at the ‘The ¡Viva Yiddish! Project’ an event that celebrated the new sound of Yiddish-Latino music, at Grand Performances at California Plaza in Los Angeles. At this event the Valenzuela Twiins’s performance showcased the rich inter play of horns, brass & drums with that of ‘Klezmer’ sounds.
Lastly, the Valenzuela Twiins performed for the first time at The Hollywood Bowl with their ‘Banda Juvenil’ where they joined multiple GRAMMY® award winning recording ensemble OZOMATLI, in an incredible mind blowing show, fulfilling a long time personal dream of Wil-Dog to perform with a banda.

At the early age of 19 the Valenzuela Twiins where pioneers & visionaries, betting on the music of their generation creating the artists, songs and the albums that would pave the way for Mexican music made in the United States.

Their story begun when their Mexican immigrant parents arrived to Los Angeles in search for a better future for their 14 year old twin sons ‘Adolfo & Omar’ from Culiacán, Sinaloa Mexico to East Los Angeles.

Upon arriving to East Los Angeles the brothers continued to pursue their innate appreciation for music, a passion handed to them by their father who was an accomplished musician in their native Sinaloa. At an early age the brothers had already performed with super star artists such as Celia Cruz and Tito Puente during their West Coast dates.

“Music allowed us to live a very different life than that of our surroundings… in gang infested East Los Angeles, our love for music allowed us to dream big. Upon finishing high school we began helping out local artists by producing their albums and seeking distribution.”
