Hispanic audiences have embraced this Corrido as they can identify with its profound yet simple lyrical message and the rhythm of Banda.

“El Corrido de Barack Obama” states “on November 4 of 2008” The people choose someone of the minority. The people where in search of change and went to vote, there was no doubt about it he took over his opponent John McCain who couldn’t reach the top…. “people from all over the world choose him as chief and young Barack Obama was named president”.

“This young president has dark colored skin. A fine speaker. From all minorities he gained their respect”.

Towards the end …sending a warning “Take care of the president from being killed, his name is Barack Obama and in history he will remain, from the sky his grandma is watching over him.”

The team being the success of this corrido is: the incomparable talent of the singer and author Juan Carlos Sánchez ‘EL SINALOA 21’ (born in Jalisco who resides in the city of Los Angeles) and producer  Ivan G.
